the ice is leaving us faster than it showed up, hopefully we get a couple of days of cold weather to lock it back up, fishing was just starting to pick up, please if you go out be safe and take a buddy, wear a float jacket if you have one, I don't sell them so you will have to go to another store to get them.
there were a couple of boats out of tawas the other day and they did very well out at the alabaster crib jigging for walleyes. one group I know caught there two man limit two days in a row..
inland lakes should still have ice on them but again be very careful spud your way out. the guys fishing in the north port marina did fairly well on pike and a few perch and gills.
I am sure if you find a open spot on the augres river you would catch a few walleyes not saying limits but a few for dinner is quite possible.
