started late today n the report yesterday saw a flurry of larger fish caught in the morning off of point augres. with reports of fishing topping 11 pounds coming in I had one fish that I weighed at the shop that was 8.73 pounds and saw lots of walleyes yesterday in here those targeting around 16 foot of water were doing the best using custom jigging raps in wonder bread and bloody nose tipped with minnows had a good report of perch off of the pine river fishing is coming alive in augres and the surrounding areas now if the ice will hold out for us. speaking f ice there is lots of slush and water on it be careful colder days are coming hopefully that will stiffen everything back up
