fishing report for 3-16-2019

few people out yesterday fishing the cuts around augres and venturing onto the ice in different areas, heard reports of a few gills and specks being caught in the cuts some walleye and perch on the bay but heard the same from everyone the ice is not the best so if you take the chance to go out today be safe and very careful. looks like night crawlers will be in early next week, the sucker run should be starting up as soon as this ice gets out of the river. remember inland walleye fishing season ended yesterday, the steel head should be moving up the rivers any day now, also thinking of having a steel head tourney this year let me know if there is any interest in that. as always be safe and have a great day.
