fishing is picking up daily couple limit catches of walleye reported yesterday off of the mouth of the augres river, those trolling flicker minnow and dhj12's did the best, guys casting from shore with shallow flicker shads caught a few fish with a half a dozen or so steel head caught, the sucker fishermen are going strong watched one guy behind the shop on the city docks catch at least a dozen of them. crawlers seem to be the bait of choice but a few guys were catching suckers with sponges soaked in eagle one bait company's EO-40, get the kids out and catch suckers it will be some of there best memories. as always have fun and please be safe.
