fishing was slow yesterday later in the day due to the wind picking up but those that were out of the pine river yesterday morning did well on perch again in 4-6 foot of water using Russian hooks and slab grabbers with a few walleye being caught on red and silver do-jiggers tipped with a minnow head. booth rd. was pretty much a bust yesterday didn't hear of much happening there, reports of a couple keeper size walleye to the left of the break wall on the mouth of the augres river. north port had a few pike speared and a couple walleye seen but the guy wasn't targeting them . as always be safe and spud your way out, have a fun day of fishing and don't forget to sign up for the augres summer fight someone is going to walk away from that one very happy it mite as well be you.
