The walleye bite has been phenomenal on points look out and augres, also in front of the river mouth those trolling deep husky jerks, flicker minnows and bandit's are doing the best. The guys that are jigging are holding there own. White stone is doing well on walleyes and lake trout same program as the points.
Those casting from shore along point look out are doing quite well with a few smelt being dipped as well.
Tawas river and the pier in Tawas are producing walleye and the occasional trout.
The east branch of the augres river is still giving up the steel head floating spawn and flies. Below m55 has been the best.
As always have a great day of fishing and be safe.
